Welcome to the Paralegal Association of Santa Clara County (PASCCO).  Founded in 1978, PASCCO is a professional and educational organization for legal assistants. The majority of members are paralegals employed by Santa Clara County law firms, corporations, and governmental agencies. Additional members include students, educators, and other persons interested in the development of the paralegal profession. Various law firms and institutions are sustaining members. PASCCO is an affiliated association of the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) and the California Alliance of Paralegal Associations (CAPA).

Purposes

  • To constitute a county-wide voice on behalf of the paralegal profession;
  • To advance, foster, and promote the paralegal concept within the legal community;
  • To establish good fellowship among Association members, NALA, CAPA, and members of the legal community;
  • To promote high standards of ethical and professional competence;
  • To further education among members of the profession;
  • To interact with bar associations; and
  • To support and carry out the programs, purposes, aims, and goals of NALA and CAPA.
